Lightning flashed, and Jiraiya's hair "armor" slowly dispersed.
"Huh, you're still standing? That's unexpected!" remarked Yishilan with surprise.
At this moment, Jiraiya was on one knee, panting heavily. His spiky hair remained intact, but his entire body was emitting wisps of black smoke, with burn marks from lightning all over. His face was a patchwork of black and yellow, looking quite unrecognizable.
"It's oil," Jiraiya said, wiping his face, revealing some unknown grease on his fingers.
