Chapter 216: The grand halls of the Titan Citadel
Aurelia's POV
The grand halls of the Titan Citadel were unlike anything in the mortal realm—colossal pillars of obsidian and gold stretched high into the heavens, their surfaces etched with the history of Titans long forgotten.
The air itself hummed with an ancient power, a reminder that I was seated in the presence of a being beyond mortal comprehension.
And yet, as I took a sip of my rose-infused tea, I couldn't help but smirk at the very mortal conversation unfolding between me and my host—the Titan Queen, Valeria the Eternal.
Valeria, the undisputed ruler of the Titans, leaned back in her throne-like chair, swirling her golden-hued tea with a long, delicate finger. Her piercing amber eyes, the same color as molten gold, watched me with amusement.
"So," she murmured, her voice a purr of raw dominance. "You believe this... Samuel Gebb... would be worth my time?"
I chuckled, setting my cup down with a soft clink. "Oh, not just your time, my dear Valeria—your body."
The Titan Queen let out a deep, rumbling laugh. "It has been eons since someone had the audacity to suggest who should warm my bed."
I smirked, resting my chin on my palm. "Well, someone had to say it. You've gone what... a million years without any real satisfaction?"
