The Heavenly Demon of Terror

Chapter 209: A Walk Through the Imperial Streets

(Samuel's POV)

As I walked down the stone-paved streets, I couldn't help but admire the architecture around me. Grand arches, towering spires, intricate carvings on every building—it was just like the Imperial World.

I ran my fingers across the rough stone of a nearby wall, feeling its ancient texture. "Damn... it really feels like I've stepped back in time."

People bustled around me, dressed in elegant tunics, heavy cloaks, and armored guards patrolling the roads. Horse-drawn carriages rolled by, merchants called out from their stalls, and the scent of freshly baked bread mixed with the distant aroma of burning incense.

A blacksmith nearby hammered away at a blade, sparks flying as he shaped the glowing metal.

I smirked. "If this world has a medieval aesthetic, I wonder if their technology is equally outdated or if there's hidden advancement somewhere."

As I continued walking, a group of noblewomen in ornate dresses whispered as I passed by, stealing curious glances. Some giggled, others looked away when I met their eyes.

"Hah... guess I'm already drawing attention."

A kid suddenly bumped into me. I looked down to see a small boy with messy brown hair staring up at me with wide, nervous eyes. He clutched a loaf of bread tightly against his chest.

"Sorry, mister!" he yelped before darting past me.

I chuckled. "A street rat, huh? Just like old times."
