Inside a luxurious skyscraper, the temporary office of Maa Enterprises was being set up. Employees rushed around, adjusting furniture, setting up workstations, and finalizing schedules.
At the center of it all—Katerina Maa.
She stood by the floor-to-ceiling window, arms crossed, her fingers gripping her phone tightly. Her sharp eyes burned with frustration, her jaw clenched.
Her thoughts were a storm.
"It was only one mistake, and he's acting like this?"
She slammed her phone down onto the glass desk, causing her assistant to flinch.
Her voice was cold, laced with disbelief.
"Even though I slept with Oberan, I punished him for exposing me to Henry! And this is what I get!?"
Her assistant hesitated before carefully speaking. "Ms. Maa, perhaps Mr. Hans—"
Katerina cut her off.
