The Heavenly Demon of Terror

Chapter 88: The Game They Can’t Win

As I walked through the dimly lit streets, I spotted Abigail standing near her luxurious Bentley, a bright smile on her face.

But I wasn't fooled.

With my keen senses, I immediately noticed Joshua approaching from behind me.

"Heh. So that's how it is, huh?"

I smirked, already knowing where this was going.

In the original story, this was one of the moments where Abigail humiliated my past self. She'd act all warm, smiling at me as if she still cared—only for Joshua to come from behind and shove me away like trash.

Their little power play.

Their pathetic game.

But today?

It wasn't going to play out the way they expected.

I pulled out a cigarette, lighting it as I took a slow drag.
