You showing up here would be such an honor for me—you'd literally be the first person in the industry I've managed to bring in!"
Elena was no stranger to tact; she knew exactly how to phrase things.
By then, the waiter had begun serving the dishes.
After picking up her chopsticks, she added, "Ms. Chen's my manager, by the way. She always has reliable sources. A lot of veterans in the indie music scene really admire you."

Later, Zhou Yi received countless private messages—mostly through social media—from talent agencies and production teams inviting him to collaborate on songs or join projects. Most of these offers, however, he turned down.

Elena's face lit up with excitement. "Oh my gosh, are you really going to write a song for me?"
Zhou Yi glanced at Kong Huaijin, who lowered her gaze with a soft smile. "You're Sis's best friend, which makes you my friend too. Consider this song a token of appreciation."
