"Mr. Zhou, Miss Lan," both men stood up, smiling warmly as they greeted Zhou Yi and Jiang Ruolan.
The two young men were named Xu An and Ye Chen.
Both had graduated from a prestigious film academy. While they were undeniably attractive by ordinary standards, in a place teeming with beautiful people like their alma mater, they lacked connections or influential resources to stand out.
After graduation, finding suitable work proved difficult. Small film crews paid poorly and demanded long hours, so they eventually settled into these roles as security guards under Zhou Yi.
Xu An and Ye Chen no longer harbored lofty ambitions. The gap between dreams and reality had become painfully clear during their time at the academy, leading them to adopt a more relaxed attitude toward life.
This job was easy and comfortable—just sitting here looking presentable suited them fine. Why not enjoy it? As for the future, they figured they'd cross that bridge when they came to it.
Zhou Yi nodded faintly with a smile before heading inside.
Xu An and Ye Chen exchanged quiet words.
