Chapter 43 Rumour[Part 2]
That afternoon, it seemed every teacher had been instructed by their homeroom teacher, Liu Wei, to call on Zhou Yi frequently during class.
In English class, Zhou Yi's flawless accent left the teacher stunned.
In sketching class, his drawing of a bird was so lifelike it could have come straight out of a textbook.
In the history of Chinese and foreign art class, Zhou Yi traced the origins of art back to Pangu creating the heavens and earth—a mythical figure from ancient Chinese folklore.
The students in the visual communication class went from exclaiming, "Holy crap!" to "Oh, it's Zhou Yi. That's normal."
They were numb to his brilliance now. Even if Zhou Yi recited the textbook backward, they wouldn't bat an eye.
"He's not an art student—is he? How does he know all this?"
"I remember his sketches were terrible last semester."
"Yeah, I went to high school with him. We were in the humanities class. He never studied art."
"How many more surprises does he have up his sleeve?"
"Could the rumors be true? There's no other explanation."
