Chapter 186: Biological Weapon
"High-energy biological reaction?" Zack frowned slightly but didn't pay it much mind. The Fearless Warriors were more than capable of handling any biological threat. Armed with power armor and chainswords, they could go toe-to-toe with even the most fearsome creatures, like the Mutated Lord, and come out unscathed.
Zack wasn't concerned—until he heard it. "ROAR!" The sound was deafening, followed by the rumble of collapsing buildings. A massive figure burst from the underground slope inside the base, its body dripping with blood and scraps of flesh.
The creature was enormous, standing five meters tall—nearly two stories high. Its limbs were humanoid in structure but covered in fur, claws, and fangs more fitting for a beast. Its face and palms bore distinctly bear-like features, though its fur was striped like a tiger. The mismatched features gave it a grotesque and unnerving appearance, as though a tiger and grizzly bear had been forcibly fused with human DNA through some horrific biotechnology. Two large tumors protruded from its shoulders, and its pale, lifeless pupils radiated a chilling emptiness. On its left shoulder, where the fur had been burned away, bold lettering branded its identity:

[WARNING: PRODUCT DEFECTIVE. RELEASE STRICTLY PROHIBITED.]
"ROAR!" Biological Weapon No. 01 emerged into the sunlight, its monstrous form visible to all. Its pale eyes narrowed, and its massive nose sniffed the air. The acrid scent of gunpowder and the pungent stench of blood seemed to ignite something within it. Droplets of scarlet liquid dripped from its bloodstained fangs—whether saliva or remnants of its earlier victims was unclear.
The creature locked onto a direction and charged at full speed. Buildings in its path were reduced to rubble, crumbling like paper under its sheer power.
"ARGhhhh!" Survivors hiding in one of the buildings barely had time to react before the roof was ripped away. The beast's bloodied maw descended, tearing into its victims without mercy.
