Chapter 154: Two Mutants
The small crowd listened in awe as she regaled them with exaggerated details. The horde, initially reported as tens of millions, had grown to hundreds of millions in her tale. For these workers, Zack was nothing short of a mythical figure. The girls were especially enamored. To them, Zack was not only their savior but also a hero who had rescued them from their grim fates at the northern base. "Sir Zack is amazing!" one girl declared.
"Obviously!" another chimed in. "I heard he turned Washington DC into a sub-base and renamed it the Southern Base."

The meal was simple but hearty. Everyone gathered around the table: Zack, Sophia, Erza, Annie, Mia, Ava, Scarlett, and Gwen. It was a full house, almost like a big family coming together. At the table, Annie tugged on Erza's sleeve. "Sister Ezra, why did you make me sleep next door last night?" she asked, her innocent eyes wide.
