Kang Chan had lost two men and left Smithen, Haller, and Forman behind. Hence, only seven of his team headed to the next village. Thankfully, no one wanted to opt out of the operation.

As their commander, Kang Chan walked at the forefront. He had his rifle slung around his right shoulder and his right index finger on the trigger.
