Chapter 311: The plan
Killian zoned out during the fight which got him injured. His mating mark constricted around his skin and that meant one thing, his mate was in danger. When the Eagle tribe started to attack them, he had underestimated them. They were merely three and four marked beastmen and yet fought against him and other immortal beastmen. Their fighting form was vicious and filled with instincts, it was as though they were in a situation of life or death. No normal beastmen fought like this.
Blake had the same thought running through his mind. The Eagles before him were something else. They reminded him of his old days when he, Killian, Victor, and Demir fought together. When they were leveling up, this was their stance, kill or be killed. Not everyone can become an immortal beastman. If not for the current situation, Blake would have liked to have a proper duel with all five of these Eagle beastmen. Regretfully there was something else he had on his mind, his mate was taken away. She no longer remained in the Lion tribe.
Kaizer had to hold himself back from sending his shadow beast to follow Kyrell. Without him present, the shadow might start to act on its owner’s inner thoughts. And the thought he had right now was nothing but to attack and kill. Kyrell had his bunny with him. Attacking the former might hurt her and that was the last thing he wanted. That Eagle would die, that was for sure. But before that, he has to stop the former’ underlings, "Tie them up" As soon as the command left his mouth, his shadow rushed toward the intruders.
The five Eagle beastmen were caught off guard when they felt something invisible restricting their moment. They were thrown against the stone barrier surrounding the lion tribe. Blood gushed out of their mouths and their body felt weak as though something drained all their energy. And when they looked up, a black smoke covered their eyes lulling them to sleep.
"They were good," Demir said as he wiped his bloodied fists.
"Kyrell was the one to train them" Noah commented.
"That speaks for itself. That guy is a monster" Victor said closing his eyes and trying to calm his bloodlust. It was about to awaken until Kaizer stopped them. This was not the time for him to lose his calm.
"We should go to Eagle tribe, that bastard took her," Lucas said in a panic-filled voice, "She is pregnant!"
"Keep your mouth shut" Blake warned the wolf, "Don’t go saying that everywhere. Words spread, we don’t want her vulnerable condition to reach our enemies"
