Chapter 174: Only solution

The lion king couldn’t keep his composure anymore and sent the table flying against the stone wall after hearing an absurd report regarding the black wolf tribe.
He was getting ready to leave for the rose castle to check on his grandsons when he was informed about the arrival of the eagle beastmen. King Leonard decided to stay back and listen but he was not ready for the report that he heard.
"What the hell did you just say!?"
The Eagle beastmen recoiled in their place due to the lion king’s overwhelming pressure. They could understand his fury. Anyone with a sane mind would feel the same anger knowing the situation. Having stray beasts inside the city made all of them anxious.
The stray beasts were normal beastmen like them in the past. They were comrades, friends, and family until the death of their females. Losing their mate would turn the normal beastmen astray. This might happen with either their female dying or them removing the spousal mark. But no matter the circumstance, the males turned into strays are nothing but insatiable beasts.
Strays lose all their rationality and the only thing that would remain in their minds is to fill the void. They try their best to fill in the empty void left by their mates by harming other females. It can either be by forcing themselves onto the females or by killing them.
After becoming a stray beast, one cannot control his primal needs. Fulfilling their carnal pleasure is the only way for them to feel alive. Yes, they are pitiful...but hurting innocent females that got nothing to do with them for their selfishness is not right.
"We must chase them out" the lion king announced bringing everyone out of their thoughts, "Warn every female inside the city to stay indoors until those bastards are chased out of the city"
"Yes, your majesty!" The guards said in unison and departed to carry out their tasks.
