Chapter 144: Keep children out of it
Darcio was resting in his chamber when the guard beastman sent by the scorpion king entered, "His majesty asked to bring you to the lion tribe, elder"
"Lion tribe?" Darcio asked in confusion.
The guard nodded his head, "It was something regarding his highness’ female. The lion tribe’s prince came here and was discussing something serious with his highness and his majesty"
Darcio narrowed his eyes. He wasn’t able to fully grasp the guard’s words but he inferred that it must be something serious.
He got up from the ground and stepped out of his room, "Lead the way"
Together they left the scorpion castle and reached the lion tribe.
The ones who were patroling allowed them inside because they were already informed by their prince to let the sage from the scorpion tribe have a lenient entrance.
Darcio just stepped inside the castle when he heard a loud commotion coming from inside. He walked in that direction and caught sight of Lord Killian glaring at the lion tribe’s prince.
Whereas Victor looked at them with indifference, "Done with your nonsense? I’m going inside to see my sweet girl whether you come or not"
Darcio noticed that the vulture king was feigning indifference but was trying to suppress his anger. He realized that something must have happend for them to react like this, but he did not understand the exact reason. Then he tried to look for his master but Demir was not there.
Whereas Lyra heard the commotion outside her room with a frown on her face, "What is going on outside?"
