Chapter 115: Revealing everything
"Iria!" Theodore exclaimed as she disappeared with Gregory, "No..."
He felt anger rising in his mind, but that was directed at himself for being so worthless. His mate decided to leave him because she wanted to keep him and Lyra safe.
"I will find them and bring your mate back," Killian said seeing Theodore’s crestfallen face.
But he just smiled sadly, Theodore was grateful for everything Killian had done until now and didn’t want to implicate him any further. Also, he didn’t want to restrain his mate anymore with his selfishness like in the past. Iria’s eyes clearly said him to stay put for some time and he would do that and wait for her to return.
He turned around and went inside the castle leaving Killian confused. But Killian didn’t want to think so much about others while his mate was in pain and returned to Lyra’s side.
Demir was currently testing the antidote given by Gregory. After examining it thoroughly, he handed the veil to Blake, "It’s safe"
Blake instantly believed him because Demir was well versed in toxins and poisons. He sometimes even saw him experimenting with different poisons and antidotes so he opened the veil and carefully put it near Lyra’s lips, "Drink this Lilly"
Even in pain, she looked at him with puzzled eyes. Blake understood her suspicion and reassured her by saying, "It is an antidote" she still shook her head feeling skeptical, "Don’t you trust me?"
Only after that did she part her lips and gulped down the purple-colored liquid. It was slightly bitter and left her mouth with an unpleasant feeling but it worked miraculously as in the next few minutes, her stomach pain eased, and her eyes became drowsy making her slump against Blake’s shoulder.
He gently held her head and laid her down on the bed. Then asked the witch master to check her condition and the latter complied.
She continued to sleep peacefully while the witch master took her wrist and started examining her pulse. A small smile made its way on his face after some time and he looked at the anxious males inside the room, "Both my lady and the fetus are safe"
