Chapter 110: Finding
Kyrell surveyed his tribe from the sky in his beast form, a golden eagle. He caught sight of a giant black snake fighting a huge scorpion and a vulture lying on the ground because of poisoning.
He descended towards them and used his wings to create a gust of wind which sent Blake and Demir away from each other. Then he went towards Victor and started removing the poison with his powers. It was his first time doing this, so it took some time before Victor gained his strength.
Standing up, he stared at Kyrell but his attention was taken away when Blake and Demir started fighting once again. Victor sighed and flew towards them, morphing his right wing into a hand, he punched Blake’s head from behind, "Get a grip of yourself snake!"
Blake turned to him and attacked him with his mouth open, but Victor dodged and continued fighting. Whereas Kyrell flew towards Demir and used his powers to stop the poison from spreading. As Demir’s poison stopped acting up, he was finally able to regain his control.
Then he looked at Blake who was still fighting Victor and used a small portion of his paralyzing venom to catch Blake off guard. The snake shook its head and tried to move but was unable to do so because of Demir’s venom. At last, he slumped on the ground and closed his eyes turning into his beastman form.
Demir sighed relief and glanced at Kyrell, "Thanks"
Kyrell turned to his beastman form and looked at him, "Take that snake and get out of my tribe"
Demir frowned at his frigid words but didn’t blame him. Three of them destroyed most of the eagle tribe and any king would react like this if this happened to their tribe. But he was surprised by the ability that the eagle king possessed so he decided to ask, "How were you able to suppress my poison?"
It was a great feat for someone to single-handedly suppress the venom of an immortal scorpion beastman. Whenever this happened, Demir would go out into the forest to let it calm down on its own, and the only other time he had restrained his poison was when he met his sunshine. Her presence somehow calmed him down thus preventing the poison from going haywire.
