Chapter 82: Giving up on erasing the memory
"Don’t even think about it" Blake dismissed Victor’s thoughts as soon as those words left his mouth "I will never allow Lilly to make that wish"
Victor frowned "Why? Doesn’t it also help us if Michael were to leave that fox’s side?"
"It is not happening" Blake replied resolutely ignoring Victor’s words.
"Why are you so stubborn?" Victor grumbled bitterly
Blake sighed "Victor, we can’t decide someone else’s life, even if we turn him into a normal beastman, his heart will never change. You do know about the male’s love for their females in the beast world, he will never agree to voluntarily erase his love for fox king’s daughter, and I don’t want to force him into accepting our decision. No matter how terrible the female is, the males who love her will never give her up, so forget about your great idea"
Victor narrowed his eyes and thought about it. What Blake spoke of was true, Michael would never agree to erase his feelings for the fox king’s daughter, it is not only him but no males will accept it. It was just that, he always thought of Michael as a pitiful one, he was abandoned by his female and became a puppet in the hands of the fox king for his female. When Michael tried to kill him utilizing the eagle beastmen, he was pissed at Michael at first but knowing that he had no other choice but to accept it, made Micahel even more miserable in his eyes.
He couldn’t help but gnash his teeth remembering that all of Micahel’s decision was influenced by a fake promise that the fox king vouched. He felt sorry for not being able to help him out of such a dilemma.
Blake observed Victor in silence and patted his shoulders "You cannot take responsibility for someone’s stupid decision, I know how you feel and I have to admit that if Peter was in such a position, I would also try to help him out of it, but it ultimately is not mine or your life to decide on. Michael is already in a deep void created by the fox king, we cannot save him, also don’t forget that he is our enemy now"
Victor smiled sadly and nodded his head "He is too late to redeem himself, isn’t he?"
"True" Blake remarked
