Noah turned around and saw Blake standing behind him. Blake continued "And if you dare to reveal this to anyone else, then get ready to die young"
"And you!" he turned to Gregory "You can only irritate me this much, don't try to cross your line in my Lilly's matter. I'm letting you live because you are still useful in protecting Lilly, don't provoke me more"
As Blake went to leave Gregory called him "You know that whatever I'm doing is for Lyra's sake right?, Just today I learned about the snake clan leader joining hands with the Fox king. You left your position to an idiot"
Blake frowned and turned around "Peter did that? What could the fox king even offer to him in exchange?"
"Of course it is for females, Your snake clan only has females who are snatched away, and females don't mate with snakes beastmen voluntarily, he must have promised to send females to them. How could you not know about this matter? what did you even do when you were a king" Gregory said in an annoyed tone
Now that Blake thought about it, it was true that females hated cold-blooded beastmen. Drowning in his Lilly's love, he momentarily forgot about this. When he was a king, he didn't do anything to his clan because he didn't care about them. Once he became an immortal beastman, he automatically became king, but because of his boredom, he even left that seat and handed it to his underling Peter.
Peter was quite loyal to him, He refused the seat of King and just continued being a leader of the clan. Now that it has come to Lilly's safety, he would take his rightful place back.
He looked at Gregory "Don't worry, Peter won't go against my wishes. I will inform him to cut ties with the Fox king"
