Chapter 14: Soul crystal
Beast world had three prominent seasons that are summer, rainy, and winter season. In every rainy season, beastmen hunted prey and smoked them to last for winter, because the winter season was considered the harshest in the beast world as all the animals would go into hibernation and the forest would be blocked by thick snow and would only melt during the beginning of summer.
Blake also would go into hibernation during winter when he was a five-star beast but after crossing that it was not necessary for him to go into hibernation but he used to do that in the past because of practice. But now he was thankful that he crossed the stars because he could still take care of his Lilly.
After Blake went hunting, Lyra started making shoes using animal hide, she put the thicker hide to make the sole and took softer ones and sewed them together with great difficulty, it was very hard Piercing through the animal hide but she finished them at last.
Blake returned in the evening with lots of prey and he skinned it and smoked the meat and then stored it in large leaves. After that, he went to learn about tanning the animal skin and only returned at night.
Lyra heard him entering and said "Go take a bath, you are dirty from hunting all day"
Blake chuckled, his Lilly was ordering him now. He would gladly allow Lilly to order him because only she had the permission to do that.
After dipping in the river he returned and found Lilly cooking food "Lilly you don't have to do these works. Get up" he pulled her up
"I'm bored and do not have anything to do, at least let me do the cooking" she replied in boredom
"But you are going through the heat and I heard females get tired easily during this time"
