Chapter 12: Code red
Blake frowned when Lyra started fidgeting in his arms and turned to face her "What happened? Is something wrong?"
Yes, everything is wrong thought Lyra. she just put her head down and whispered "Put me down I can't sit properly on your hands"
Blake was displeased, he wanted to hold her near him as much as he could because it is still sunny and she wouldn't feel cold so he tried to adjust his hands to hold her properly but felt something wet on his hands, he casually looked at his hand and saw traces of blood and suddenly panicked thinking that she got injured and put her down and looked her from top to bottom and noticed blood on her butt.
"Lilly! are you injured somewhere? why are you bleeding? Doctor, we must go to the doctor now!!" he started panicking in a loud voice which attracted many beast-men
Lyra wanted to facepalm because of the embarrassment, she didn't dare to look up and only held his hand and dragged him away from people
Then she said "Stop it, Blake, I'm not injured it is normal for me to bleed"
However, he didn't believe that "How can it be normal for you to bleed. Look how much you are bleeding" he said showing his hand
Lyra blushed furiously and took him to the river and washed his hand. Blake was still nervous and was continuously pestering for her to go see a doctor
Lyra gave up and went with him to the doctor, maybe he may listen to the doctor. They entered a slightly bigger stone house than other houses which had the fragrance of kitchen, well they used cooking items as medicine here so it was normal
