Chapter 10: Searching
After having his fill, Blake left her lips and smirked.
He tapped her little nose and said, "Why are you assuming that I'll kill you? If I wanted, I would have already gobbled you up when you were unconscious" She looked so cute with her tear-stricken eyes and he wanted to tease her more.
Lyra stopped crying and replied while hiccuping, "Then why are you keeping me here against my will? I want to go back to the city of beasts"
"Why are you insisting on going back? it is not like you have mated. I did not see any mating mark on you while I was covering your body with clothes" he didn't understand her. Even if she had a mate, he would kill that male without her knowledge. She was his and only his.
"I have someone who is waiting for me" and I'm scared of you, she added in her mind but didn't dare to voice it out.
He frowned, his Lilly had someone waiting for her? well, he should finish them. He didn't like her attention on someone else other than him.
He tilted his head to the side "Who is the one waiting for you?"
"He is someone who saved me when I was in danger. I promised to become his mate and I like him" she answered truthfully. She was missing Lucas a lot and wanted to see him.
Blake narrowed his eyes and gritted his teeth hearing her words. How dare someone other than him have a place in his Lilly's heart? He should finish that fellow.
