Chapter 3: Sleeping together
After becoming a little comfortable with her dress, she started moving around the house and darted her eyes curiously. This was new to her, how many times does one transmigrate into a different world? The idea itself was mind-boggling for her. But after some time, she started to feel sad thinking about the absence of her parents and friends in this world. Furthermore, she got anxious about the possibility of people finding out about her secret in this world.
Lucas chuckled as he continued watching so many different expressions in a small-time on her adorable face and suddenly felt that she was even more beautiful and started laughing loudly.
Seeing him laughing so loudly, Lyra broke from her train of thoughts and impatiently asked him, "Why are you laughing like that? Do you find me funny?"
Lucas finished his laugh and said "You looked so adorable thinking something with a serious face that I couldn't control myself"
After hearing a compliment addressing her as adorable Lyra started blushing. It was even more when she received it from a gorgeous young man like Lucas. She felt like grinning like a fool but suppressed it in front of him.
"Can you please give me something to eat? I'm starving from the morning. And I promise that I'll pay you back after I become familiar around here" she was hungry and after the chase from that stupid boar, she was utterly exhausted.
"I'm sorry I forgot, I'll immediately roast some meat for you" He replied and started skinning the wild boar which he killed today and started cleaning it.
Nothing more to do, Lyra stood up from her place, but painfully halted her steps when her soles pressed the ground "Ahh"
Lucas immediately left what he was doing and ran to her and held her legs in his hands. Her fair and slender legs were covered with minor scratches and her soles were covered with blood and dust because of running. His heart ached to see her injured and he started to lick her wounds.
