It was rare for someone like him to hold her in high regard, a mere woman. If it had been anyone else, they would probably have been considered insane and thrown out of the Government Office the moment they proposed performing an autopsy. After seeing two patients, Ran Yan went to a clothing store to buy a set of men’s Han-style clothes with a round neck and narrow sleeves, to facilitate the autopsy.
"Wife, where are we going now?" Shao Ming, looking at Ran Yan’s attire, asked in confusion.
"Do you want to learn medical skills?" Ran Yan responded with her own question. Whether as a Forensic Doctor or a physician, Ran Yan needed one or two assistants, even if just to help with minor tasks, to relieve some of her burden.
Shao Ming’s eyes lit up, and he eagerly replied, "I do."
"Then don’t speak later, just watch carefully." Ran Yan also wanted to test Shao Ming’s courage and potential. If he was like Sang Chen, a rabbit at heart, then no matter how loyal or capable he might be, it would all be in vain.
Performing autopsies wasn’t something shameful after all, and Ran Yan wasn’t afraid of anyone finding out.
