Li Qing was a bit upset in his heart; being looked at in such a way by an animal, what was that about, he was a human after all, even if still ordinary.

Stepping forward for a better look, he was startled to see the owl holding a roll of brown paper tied with a black ribbon in its beak.

Li Qing was momentarily bewildered and, after confirming that the other party just wanted to give him that roll of brown paper it was holding, he carefully pushed open the window all at once.

Flap, flap, flap!!

However, he forgot that the windows in his place opened outward, and as he watched the owl flap its wings frantically, it screeched and started falling.

"Hoo~~ hoo~~~ hoo~~"

Li Qing quickly caught the brown paper roll in his nimble hands and then leaned forward with his head to watch it fall down.

It was already late at night, completely dark below, with only a few dim streetlights flashing in the distance; he didn't see any trace of the owl.

If it weren't for the roll of brown paper in his hand, Li Qing would think all of this was an illusion.

Looking at the roll of brown paper in hand, he suddenly realized that this might just be the admission letter that Zhuang Xu mentioned.

"Is it real?!"

Li Qing, full of doubt, opened this paper that looked quite ancient, like parchment.

Pulling away the ribbon, he spread out the parchment, and the paper was covered in countless twisted patterns that looked somewhat hair-raising.

He frowned and turned the parchment back and forth, checking it thoroughly, and just as he intended to toss it aside as nothing unusual, his hand suddenly froze, eyes wide open.

The strange symbols at the top of the paper began twisting endlessly like countless black maggots and eventually transformed into clear Chinese characters that he could read.

"What the hell, what the hell?! What the hell!!!!"

Li Qing couldn't help but exclaim a few times before looking at the content inside with a mix of shock and uncertainty.

"Dear Mr. Li Qing:

We are pleased to inform you that, due to you maintaining your virginity for thirty years without overly close contact with females, after various screenings and reviews, you have been granted admission to the Gray Magic Academy to study. Enclosed with this letter are the books and basic Meditation Method content you need to study in advance. Please familiarize yourself with the book contents and meditation basics, as there will be an entrance test.

The Academy will officially start on December 31st; please keep your admission letter safe, as it serves as your pathway and credential for admission. On behalf of all the tutors at Gray Magic Academy, I welcome your arrival.

"Is it real?!"

Li Qing felt excited and thrilled inside. Thirty years of a life as plain as water, and unexpectedly, on his birthday, he encountered such an opportunity. Indeed, as Zhuang Xu said, it was a turning point in life.

He felt somewhat apologetic for his earlier attitude towards Zhuang Xu's call, intending to call him back, only to find that there were no call records, the most recent being a call from his boss two days ago.

Is it really magic?

Witnessing this bizarre scene, Li Qing quickly opened the call recording records but still couldn't find any recording of the other party's call.

"What the hell..."

Li Qing wasn't sure how many times he had said 'what the hell' today. The happenings of the day were nearly shaking his three views to collapse, but having been baptized by countless online novels, he quickly adjusted his mindset and then looked at the parchment spread out on the table.

So, clicking on the book should do it.

Li Qing reached out and gently tapped on the book titled "Magic Origin," and then watched as the text at the top of the parchment rapidly changed, assembling together. The black lines wiggled like little black tadpoles.

In less than ten seconds, the entire content at the top of the seemingly old, leather-made parchment was no longer the admission letter but displaying a scene similar to an e-book.

Upon first opening it, there were even initial operation prompts. If Li Qing didn't know the current flexible screen technology was far from reaching this level, he would really think it was people with too much time on their hands deliberately trying to baffle others.

Flattening out the crumpled, unknown-material-made parchment on the table, he calmed his excited mood, went to the bathroom, washed his face with cold water to freshen up, then sat upright at the table for a careful read.

"Magic exists in everything in the world but originates from God. It's a discipline inherited through a certain carrier method, documented through the understanding of cosmic rules from a transcendent perspective by God. When God dozes off, the knowledge carrying magic is accessed by intelligent beings, and eventually by mankind, who learn, use, research deeply, and strive to understand the essence.

Just like the primordial light, with stars in the cosmos endlessly emanating endless light, heat, life, destruction, but how is this formed, and how should we utilize it…"

Li Qing read all the way until after three a.m., rubbing his dry eyes, reluctantly placing the parchment aside.

He had only read over twenty pages of "Magic Origin", with a full one thousand three hundred and twenty pages remaining. Based on preliminary understanding, magic wasn't like those in online novels, with countless roaming elements between heaven and earth, or energies extracted to form magic power for using magic.

From his perspective, mages are more like a system that completely relies on personal spirit to explore the natural world, abandoning external tools.

This book of "Magic Origin" narrates world physical phenomena thoroughly, explaining how they operate and come into being from a magical perspective.

Just like light, from a scientific angle, broadly defined as electromagnetic radiation from the entire spectrum of the sun; the sunlight we usually see filters through Earth's atmosphere.

Yet how this light forms is generally a result of hydrogen in stars transforming into helium, probing deeper, why constant fusion reactions occur inside stars...

In magical belief, it attributes to the constant decay of energy density, with ultra-high-quality energy levels continuously declining, releasing enormous energy.

The scientific side also shares this notion, constantly releasing energy amidst declining energy levels.
