Chapter 32 Monitoring Center
Jumping over the monster’s corpse, Xiang Yang came to Lu Ren’s side and pointed to the underside of the Wupin Demon, saying, "There are two wounds down here!"
Lu Ren: "..."
Thirty seconds later, Xiang Yang ran his fingers through his messy short hair and muttered, "What’s the deal, I just casually said a couple of sentences, why so fierce!"
Lu Ren, behind him, wore a blank expression, ignoring Xiang Yang’s complaints, solely on alert to their surroundings. If it weren’t that this place indeed needed Xiang Yang to clear the path, he’d either keep his distance from someone with that mindset or just eliminate them altogether.
After uneventfully passing through two office areas, scattered files along the way, collapsed computers, overturned chairs, broken office desks, and that shocking black-brown dry blood spattered everywhere, all revealed a great uproar had occurred here once.
It wasn’t until they came to the door marked "Surveillance Center" that Lu Ren looked at the flickering incandescent light in the corridor, the door at the end.
Everything was quiet except for their breathing.
"It seems this was once the domain of the polluted creature," Xiang Yang asserted.
Lu Ren was a bit surprised. "These monsters even know how to divide territories?"
Xiang Yang nodded, approaching the door of the surveillance center, saying, "When these polluted creatures evolve to a certain level, they also, like those wild beasts, vie for their territories."
Lu Ren’s emotions felt a bit off.
"You say they can still evolve?"
