Sold To The Alphas I Hate

Chapter 409: Decision Between Brothers

Lucian let out an annoyed frown. "Eira, don’t side with him. He..."

"How about you calm your anger and tell him how you kissed me back then?" I said, a light smirk on my lips. "And that time, I was already his girlfriend. And yes, a minor."

Time to open all the cards. And Maybe this will distract Lucian’s anger.

Silence fell in the room. Everyone looked at Lucian, their eyes holding the question that he kissed me.

Lucian didn’t expect me to say it.

"You remember, right?" I asked him.

Lucian got back to his senses. "I was drunk. And I thought it was a dream. You do know I didn’t really mean it."

"Who knows you were acting?" I countered, in a mood to play around with these brothers. "That day in the hospital when you kissed me in the corridor, you even asked me if I remember it."

"So, another bastard who dreamed about minors to do things with her," Rafe scoffed. "These Corven brothers are the same. Lustful bastards."

"Shut up!" Lucian and Jason said at the same time.

"Like you stayed below her window with nothing in your mind, right?" Lucian asked him. "Who are you fooling? I know the bastard vampire in you really well."

"Well, I already have a bad reputation, so there is no use in denying and say I am a saint," Rafe said coolly and turned to Roman. "See, these two bastards kissed her, and our leader had literally slept with her. Only us two are sane enough. We are truly saints in a way."

Kael still remained quiet, as if he didn’t want to be reminded of that night.

Lucian turned to Jason. "I will explain how it happened."

"No need," Jason said calmly. "The past is left behind, and now she is ours."

"Yeah, now you did more than just kiss her," Rafe commented as he looked at Lucian, "The horny bastard, all he thinks of is fucking her that she is his mate now."

Lucian smirked at him. "Jealous much?"

"Jealous of you?" Rafe scoffed. "I can do it with her if I want, so that’s a shit conclusion on your side."

"His question can be predicted in two ways, Rafe," Roman said playfully to him, "that you might be jealous of Eira."

"Maybe," Rafe didn’t deny.

"Shut up!" Lucian countered in anger.

But I was not done and turned to Rafe. "What do you mean by you can do it with me whenever you want? You can dream on."

He smirked back at me. "Caldwell, just a mere touch of mine and you already start begging to be fucked. Want me to prove it right here in front of everyone?"

The confidence of this bastard was so annoying. Even though my mind was sane, I didn’t trust this wolf part of mine, which might just make me spread my legs to him.

"Not interested," I replied and turned to look away.

"Chicken," Rafe commented. "Now shutting your mouth after trying to stir trouble here for your own entertainment."

"I didn’t," I said, looking away, guilty of what he just said.

"Yeah, you are so innocent," Rafe mocked.

"If all of you are done, can we talk about something important?" Kael’s voice brought us back to where we should be.

I should commend his patience when he quietly witnessed the bullshit from the rest of us.

After a short discussion, it was confirmed that Jason would be the one to go there.

"What should we do about the blood?" Roman asked. "He will definitely test it before releasing Evan."

"We will have to get one vial of Raven’s blood, the rest we will fill with Kael’s," Jason said. "I will pass him Raven’s blood vial first to test it. Kael’s blood is close to Raven’s and Kaya’s, so it will take time for them to confirm it’s not Raven’s or Kaya’s blood. And it will also buy me some time there."

"Raven’s blood?" I mumbled. "Do we really have to?"

"Don’t worry, Raven will be fine," Kael put his hand on mine. "He is strong and will make up for the loss quickly. For now, it’s time to worry about Evan."

I shook my head. "It’s just... the thought of some vampire feeding on my son makes me feel sick. It’s like my son has no other existence than being someone’s food. They can take my blood instead."

Kael pulled me closer. "I understand. Trust me, I hate this thought as much as you do."

"Eira," Jason called me. "It will be the last time."

I finally agreed.

Everything was planned. Alpha Gerald’s side was involved as well.

Finally in the evening Jason was ready to leave. Worry was still clear on Lucian’s face and he wasn’t happy about it.

Jason hugged Lucian to calm his anger, "Will it be fine to say, take care of her when I am not here?"

Lucian frowned, "She must be your girlfriend in the past, now she is my mate, so my rights over her comes before yours." he let go of him and said, "If you want to say that line, then return and be her mate."

Jason offered him a light smile, "I will."

Jason came to me, "Until I return, make sure to annoy that bloodsucker until he goes crazy."

"I will," I said and hugged him, "Don’t die. Please."

I didn’t know, but these were the direct words I could say to Kael, and even to Jason now.

"I won’t," he said and kissed me.

I had long stopped thinking about others watching. I kissed him back, full of longing and love for him.

When he let go, he whispered, "I love you."

Damn. It’s been long I heard him say this, and it still had the same effect on me. His words overwhelmed my heart.

"I love you, too," I whispered back.

Finally he left, my eyes teary with the thought once more he was leaving me, when we were just together.

Back then we were barely together in that short duration we realised we loved each other. Sometime it was Alpha training or in hospital with Liam, or some other reasons.

It’s like god didn’t want us to stay together for long, and I hated it.

Kael stood by me, his hand settled around my shoulder, "Don’t worry. He will return soon. He knows what he is doing."

I could only hum, trying my best to not shed tears.
