Chapter 90: Was He Insane?
Darian stood up from his seat. Under the uneasy stares of everyone from the Azure Haven Clan, he walked calmly to the center of the meeting room.
When he reached the front, standing by the bow, he turned to everyone and spoke gently, "When I got this reward, I didn't plan to sell it, so I didn't mention one detail. I received some important info about this bow from the array."
Everyone instantly perked up, curious. The only rule was to hand the item over for analysis, so technically, leaving out information wasn't really wrong.
"It was kinda weird... like the info got engraved directly in my mind," Darian went on, looking thoughtful.
He'd also received techniques as part of the reward, so he was sure that the array could grant not just items, but knowledge too. Probably no one else had gotten both knowledge and an item, but since the reward was so good, no one would question it.
"This bow was given to me because it matches my power. As you probably know, I'm a healing support. To use healing powers, you need a high level and high purity in the Yang life element. The name 'Solar Bow' isn't random — you need very pure Yang to use it. Otherwise, it's useless."
Everyone nodded. News of the fight between Darian and Raon was public — everyone knew about his abnormal healing power. And the idea that this bow ran on Yang kind of made sense... but it was obvious Darian had just come up with that explanation on the spot.
"Since I'm its rightful owner, my power connects with it perfectly. Watch." He spoke casually and touched the bow.
White power flowed lightly through his hands.
Instantly, everyone squinted — the small bow lit up with a brilliant, pure white glow. No one had ever seen anything like it, but everyone assumed it was due to the artifact's quality — not Darian's power.
While everyone was focused and surprised, Darian quietly slipped a bit of his black power into the bow. It was incredibly subtle — just enough that only someone analyzing it deeply might notice.
