Chapter 137: Return To The Capital
Prince Alex focused mana on the magitech Orb, and Dominic saw the item begin to glow more brightly, and the red light began to shift toward a more burgundy shade.
"What is it that you’re doing?" He asked.
"Oh, right. Most people don’t see this often. It’s a bonus of being a Battle Mage. One of the techniques that we learn is how to put mana into our magitech Devices as if it were from a mana core.
It only works once per item, and as if we had given it a mana core of our level. But my Trade Skill Core is at level forty, and forty levels of mana cores into a level zero magitech item usually brings it to level four.
Sometimes level three if it’s inefficient." He explained.
Dominic sighed. That was not a trick that he had learned as a Blacksmith.
Prince Alex chuckled. "I wouldn’t worry too much about it. You’re not yet a Journeyman Blacksmith. Even if you could learn the technique, it is unlikely you could even get a core to level two with this technique."
Dominic shrugged, then realized a brilliant way to get information about some obscure questions he had.
"Well, I suppose I could just eat the mana cores instead and just cast the spell harder." He joked, and the two Royals paled.
