Chapter 103: Not In The Reading Material
Dominic managed to keep himself together until he was in the shower and the maid stepped to the corner of the room.
It would be convenient if he had one of those communication items that the Royal Guards had so that he could ask someone with experience some questions about etiquette.
Dominic was fairly sure that this was an attempt to distract him while he was kept out of the way, but from all that he remembered of Cygnia’s protocols, it appeared that this was the expected treatment for a Royal Advisor.
But the more that he thought about it, the more he felt like he was missing something.
However, he hadn’t managed to grasp what it was by the time that he finished washing and shut off the water. The maid wrapped a large towel around him, and then placed a terrycloth robe over his shoulders.
"Thank you. How long do we have until the meal? So I have time to prepare." He asked.
"The meal will be brought in four hours, Advisor. Was there anything else that you needed before your rest?"
Dominic shook his head. "No, I am good for now."
The maid curtsied, and stepped out of the room, but Dominic could hear that she only went to the other room on this level, and not down the stairs.
