Even If I’m Reborn as a Cute Dragon Girl, I Will Still Make a Harem

Book 6: Chapter 109: Forward

In the darkness, a faint light flickered.

The flame inside the lantern swayed with every gust, stubbornly refusing to die, casting a fragile glow that barely held back the endless black.

Snow and wind slashed at her like icy blades. The gray cloak shielded most of it, but the exposed skin on Lilith’s face and arms still stung with every cut.

Blood trickled down, falling onto the snow. Before its vivid red could stand out against the darkness, it was quickly buried beneath the pure white.

The snow had risen to her knees, making every step incredibly difficult.

It felt less like walking and more like being dragged along. The massive husky bounced joyfully across the snowfield, as though it was excited to be home.

More than once, it nearly pulled Lilith off her feet, then turned back to give her a look of unmistakable disdain.

Being looked down on by a dog was a new experience for Lilith, but she was far too exhausted to teach that damn dog a lesson.

She was pretty much drained by now. From the moment she’d stepped into the darkness, the snow had fallen without end. She had no idea how long she had been walking.

With only the strength of an ordinary human, each step felt like another mile in a marathon she hadn’t trained for. At this point, it was only her will that kept her moving.

Woof!

The husky suddenly stopped, baring its teeth at the darkness ahead.
