Chapter 334: Her Two Sons Weird Behavior
After saying their goodbyes, Chantelle and the others left the ward.
Kane walked slowly on purpose. Once they left the ward, he secretly slipped back inside, walked over to Oscar’s bed, and said in a hushed voice, "Do you know, Mr. Nelsen Number Two? I like you quite a lot."
Oscar nodded with a warm smile. "I like you too."
Kane giggled, handed him a book, and dashed out of the room.
Oscar chuckled as he looked at the book and opened it. It was a comic.
Later, after Chantelle dropped Thea off at home, she turned to Kane and Rai. "Should I take you back to your Daddy?"
Kane got flustered when he saw his mother’s serious expression. He quickly put on his most innocent look and asked, "Mommy, are you going to abandon us?"
He thought his mom was still upset because they had chosen to stay with their dad. That’s why she didn’t want to take them back to Western Hill Villa.
Chantelle let out a soft sigh. "Kane, no matter what happens, I’ll never abandon you. Don’t say that again, okay?"
She could tell Kane felt anxious, so she did her best to comfort him. She even let him try to help fix things between her and Daniel.
"I’m sorry, Mommy. I think I want to stay with you," Kane mumbled softly.
