Chapter 298: Just Take Your Medicine
On the 88th floor of Silver Crest Global District.
"Daddy, Daddy, Mommy’s downstairs!" Kane rushed into Daniel’s room after checking the tracker.
Daniel was lying on the couch while Philip was applying foundation on his face.
"Daddy, are you trying to scare Mommy by pretending to be a zombie?" Kane asked, covering his eyes.
Philip’s hand stopped mid-air and he stared at Daniel seriously. "Yeah... the color does seem a little off."
Daniel looked at himself in the mirror. It wasn’t just "off." His face looked like it had been slapped with white paint.
"Philip Collins!" he shouted.
Philip threw the powder aside and ran away from the room.
Kane quickly grabbed Daniel’s sleeve. "Hurry, Daddy! Mommy’s almost here!"
"Mommy’s in the elevator!" Railer called out as he peeked into the room.
Daniel rushed into the bathroom to wash his face and then changed into damp clothes.
