Chapter 261: I’d Rather Die
"Camille, that doesn’t change the fact that he’s married. You’re the Nelsen family’s daughter. Don’t be so stubborn. There’s someone better out there for you."
"I don’t care! I only want him! Ro, if you won’t help me, I’d rather die!"
She screamed and ran toward the window.
Luckily, the bodyguard pulled Camille back just in time.
"Fine... I’ll let you stay," Rowan said. "But if you ever try to hurt Chantelle again, no one will be able to protect you. Not even me. Not even Grandpa. He loves you, but not more than he loves the Nelsen Corporation."
His words hit hard. Camille’s face turned pale. She clenched her fists, trying to hide her anger.
Meanwhile, at the rose castle in Skeynia, Joseph sat on the couch looking miserable.
Half of his hair was burned, and his body was covered in burns too.
He held a burnt necklace tightly in his hand and his eyes were filled with hatred.
"Sir, Madam’s favorite garden is gone. Not a single flower is left," Fred reported and his injuries were even worse than Joseph’s. He looked upset.
"We were so close to killing Daniel tonight," Fred said. "But because you couldn’t bring yourself to hurt Chantelle, everything fell apart."
