Ashton followed behind Chantelle and said, "Mrs. Wilson, Sir said he’ll handle this from now on. You don’t need to deal with something this dirty."
"It’s none of his business," Chantelle snapped as she walked past the Maybach and headed to her own car.
Ashton quickly opened the door to Daniel’s car and whispered, "Sir, Mrs. Wilson looks really mad. You should go talk to her."
Daniel let out a deep sigh. "I made her mad without even saying anything. If I talk too much, she might have another relapse."
He had never been this confused before.
He didn’t want to upset Chantelle, but he was also scared she’d blow up if she saw him again.
"A-Ah! Sir, Mrs. Wilson is just mad because you’ve been avoiding her," Ashton said, totally confused by how Daniel’s brain worked.
"Then I guess I’ll..." Daniel started, but as soon as he opened the car door, Chantelle’s car sped past him, leaving a trail of dust behind.
"Sir, are you okay?" Ashton rushed over with a tissue to wipe Daniel’s face.
Daniel was fuming, but he had no way to let it out. So, he took all that anger and aimed it at Ruby in his mind.
How dare she try to hurt my wife so openly? She must have a death wish.
