Chapter 87: Stop Them
The news that Daniel liked Chantelle surprised them. They were shocked at how fast things were moving.
Chantelle frowned and stared at Daniel.
"What are you doing, Daniel Wilson?"
No way am I marrying Daniel again! I don't care about being Mrs. Wilson.
"I mean every word I said. Can't you feel my sincerity?" Daniel didn't back down despite Chantelle's angry look. He smiled sweetly at her.
I'll make up for what I owe Chantelle from five years ago. The first step is showing her my love and care. Although she was Mrs. Wilson before, I never really cared for her. That's why she became a joke in Easthan. From now on, I'll make sure she's never unhappy.
Meanwhile, Kate was sipping wine and walking seductively toward Sam Morgan, the third son of the Morgan family, who was leaning against the second-floor balcony.
Getting his attention was her best shot at beating Chantelle. She couldn't leave the party empty-handed after going to such lengths to be invited to the Morgan family's event.
"Hi, Ms. Bently. What a surprise!" Sam said sarcastically, his eyes scanning her body. He had once been drawn to her beauty and slim figure, but she never showed any interest.
Kate, however, had been focused on marrying into the Wilson family. Now that she was giving herself to him, he wanted revenge for the humiliation he had suffered before.
"I didn't plan on coming to the event, but I decided to when I heard you'd be here." Kate tried to sound casual, though she could feel the man's disdain.
