Chapter 22: They Deserved Each Other
Last month, Kate told reporters at an event that she and Daniel would announce their engagement during the Global Charity Banquet and get married soon after.
Daniel stood next to Kate at that time and didn't deny what she said.
The news of their upcoming marriage spread quickly.
The Wilson family stayed silent about it, which worried Calvin. "Mr. Wilson will likely try to protect Ms. Kate at all costs. After all, she's the love of his life."
Chantelle frowned as she listened to Calvin's report on Kate and Daniel.
The thought of them together made her stomach churn.
Daniel was blind to the truth, and Kate was a cold-blooded killer. They deserved each other.
"Ms. Chantelle, is everything okay?" Calvin asked, noticing her silence.
Chantelle sighed and said, "Nobody can stop me. If Daniel tries to intervene, I'll send both of them to hell, and they can apologize to Wesley."
As Calvin parked the car in front of Glamour Grove Boutique, Chantelle took a small tracking device from her pocket and stuck it on the car door.
Calvin was surprised and asked, "What is that?"
