Chapter 187: God of Generation Massacre (1)
A pair of greaves flew over the head of the humming mermaid. The iron greaves, having soared into the air, plopped into the swimming pool, creating ripples. Cellu dived into the water, retrieved the mangled piece of metal, and threw it back toward the athletic field. Elsi, collapsed on the ground, watched the greaves fly through the air and bounce beside her head.
“You shouldn’t throw it so carelessly.”
“Heh. But I don’t have legs.”
Elsi complained, but Cellu just laughed it off. Elsi reached out and examined the greaves again. They were horribly crumpled, as if they had been run over by a large truck. Sieri came over and cast a heal on Elsi's legs. Across from Elsi, Eve was sitting slumped over.
“Fuck, how does she get stronger every day? I’m going to lose at this rate.”
Eve put a water bottle to her lips and chugged. The water soaked the scruff of her neck, and she wiped it away messily with her hand. The pulsing blood vessels in her neck were damp. Eve threw the water bottle to Elsi.
“The mermaid is strong too.”
“Fuck, if I lose this time, next time we’re fighting in the water.”
As Elsi caught the water bottle, Eve threw a joke at her. Elsi took a sip of water, then poured the rest over her head. Startled by the sight, Sieri took a step back. Eve found it amusing to see Sieri stomping her feet and chuckled. The daily life of the mansion was always like this. Eve and Elsi would train, Sieri would watch from the side, and broken equipment was either taken to the forge or repaired by Soya.
