EP 28 – Last Room on the Left(1)
“Give me some time to think. I… it’s not something I can decide right away, is it?”
That was all Erina could squeeze out. If I pressed her too hard here, it would only backfire. So I decided to wait. After all, time was on my side. In the meantime, I devoted myself to developing Sieri’s skills while indulging Aira’s desires.
Even if Erina didn’t offer herself to me, I wouldn’t be disappointed. Greed invites disaster. My life was satisfying enough with two beauties by my side.
However, Erina would become increasingly impatient the longer the hero was gone. A.A. was originally a macho character. He’s sweet when he’s close, but he doesn’t send letters.
How difficult it was to wait for someone gone to a distant land without any news. In a world full of dangers, it’s human nature to want to cling to a departing lover, even if the means to do so were flawed.
A week passed like this. I was in the office, working through paperwork. Aira was by my side, assisting me. As she massaged my shoulders while I worked, she said.
“My Lord, how about going to the beach?”
“Aira, you can’t go outside, remember?”
