Qin Sang felt a chill run down his spine.
Seizing the Perpetual Camphor from within the Fire-Repelling Finch’s nest would be no easy task.
Watching the flock fly farther into the distance, Qin Sang suppressed his thoughts after a brief pause and quickly activated his movement art to follow them.
The Fire-Repelling Finches were small in size but incredibly enduring. Even while carrying chunks of sea beast flesh many times larger than themselves, they flew for a full hour without resting.
Trailing behind them for another four to five hours, Qin Sang finally saw a towering mountain shadow appear on the sea's horizon.
From afar, a patch of brilliant white caught his eye.
"A snowy mountain?"
Qin Sang was surprised. Snowy peaks were rare in this region, but given the Fire-Repelling Finch’s supernatural ability and the nature of the Perpetual Camphor, it made perfect sense for them to exist within such a place.
The flock flew higher and higher, eventually vanishing into the summit of the snow mountain.
Qin Sang stopped far off and discovered that the summit resembled a volcanic crater. It was impossible to see how deep it ran, but it was clear that the nest lay within the mountain’s depths.
After witnessing the Fire-Repelling Finches coordinate during the hunt, Qin Sang decided it would be unwise to rush in. He chose instead to find a nearby location where he could observe their behavior and estimate the size of the flock before making any decisions.
