Chapter 99 - Blood, Thunder and Blades
In the midst of the battle frenzy, Rygar absorbed every fragment of information in milliseconds.
His severed arm was already functional, though fragile, after he had reattached it in a hurry.
There was no time for hesitation.
The silver-haired elf and the mage with the stone helmet had to die.
He was almost certain that the one who cast that devastating fire explosion was the mage with the helmet—only someone with so much mana could cast a spell of that level and continue fighting.
And the silver-haired elven child, who could cast magic without enchantments, was dangerous depending on the spells she knew.
But between him and these targets were Larax and the red demon, blocking any direct assault.
His thoughts unfolded in a fleeting instant. His reasoning was much faster than normal, though he hadn't yet realized it.
The desert warrior advanced with his scimitar glistening, while the red demon flanked him with enormous cleavers.
Flash Step and Burst Step were his only salvation, yet even so, he could barely dodge the storm of blows.
The terrain around him exploded with fury, cracks opening in the ground under the violent impacts of the warriors, as well as the spells that constantly altered the battlefield.
