Chapter 92 - A Way to Resist
Rygar left the North God Style headquarters without another word, under the astonished gazes of everyone present. Hurried footsteps followed behind him, and soon Eris caught up, breathing heavily.
"Rygar! Why didn't you fight him?!" Eris questioned, frustration evident in her voice. "You would have definitely won; he was tiny!"
Eidar was already walking alongside them, next to Gertan. Though he didn't ask any questions, his expression made it clear he was also curious about Rygar's unexpected refusal.
After all, before coming here, Rygar had made it clear that he wanted a tough battle to test his limits and try to advance. But when the opportunity arose, he backed down.
Rygar smiled slightly, in no hurry to respond. "You're tiny too! I just thought it would be better to fight another day."
His gaze fell on Gertan, who was following them in silence. "Gertan, please inform the King that I want to move the meeting up to tomorrow. Is that possible?"
Gertan seemed surprised for a moment but quickly composed himself. "Yes, yes, that can be arranged. But I need to notify them now so they can finish the preparations."
Rygar nodded. "Do it."
Gertan stepped forward, preparing to leave. "Alright. Then I'll take my leave here. I'll likely be at the meeting tomorrow."
Eidar furrowed his brows. "See you tomorrow, then."
