Chapter 87 - Landing at East Port and the Legion’s Reach
Rygar looked at the horizon and could see East Port in the distance. After the storm and the battle against the Kraken, the journey had proceeded without further obstacles, and the seas had calmed. He took a deep breath, feeling the sea breeze and the salty wind hitting his face.
With each passing day, he felt his strength growing steadily.
At the same time, he felt his sexual excitement increasing more and more, but Ghislaine was now keeping a certain distance, which stressed him out. Fortunately, he was only 11 years old, and his libido wasn't that strong, so although he was aroused every time he saw Ghislaine, or even Lilia, it was still manageable.
His training never stopped—his mastery of the Longsword of Light and Flow was increasing, his physical strength was expanding rapidly, and the feeling of moving toward the level of Sword King was becoming more and more real.
Aisha was also standing out. She absorbed knowledge like a sponge, not just about magic or swordsmanship, but about the world. Rygar taught her about kingdoms, morality, history, wanting to shape her as his disciple in every way.
He wanted her to be, at the very least, like him—a warrior not only strong but insightful. The little one was exceptionally talented.
At almost three years old, she already understood nuances in conversations, something that most adults couldn't even grasp.
Her magical growth was also impressive. Estimating based on his own progress, Rygar believed that, if nothing went wrong, her mana capacity would reach the God level.
Maybe not at the same level as his, but still, it would be something rare and powerful. Aisha was ahead of him in one aspect: she started training her mana even younger than he did, though only by a few months, since her mana started being spent when he activated his magic eyes for the first time.
Eris, on the other hand, had been in a great mood lately. She seemed more radiant, full of energy. She even tried to learn to cook with Lilia, but as soon as Rygar casually mentioned that he didn't care much about the taste of food, Eris simply abandoned the learning and refocused on the sword. Her progress was noticeable—she was getting faster, more precise, more lethal. And, above all, she was determined.
Ghislaine seemed to be getting back to serious training, not just as an instructor, but really trying to improve. Rygar didn't know exactly what Lilia had said to her, but it was clear that Ghislaine wanted to get better, trying to break her own limits. He felt the need to speed up his own pace and catch up with her.
