Chapter 78
Inside Liyue Harbor.
The four little ones ran through the streets, laughing and playing, their joy blending with the festive atmosphere that filled the air. Today was the day before the Lantern Festival, and the entire city was alive with celebration. Colorful lanterns adorned every street, their warm glow illuminating the smiling faces of the townspeople.
Ningguang had spared no expense in decorating the city this year, ensuring that Liyue Harbor radiated festivity and grandeur all around.
The four little ones soon arrived at the bustling morning market, where the aroma of freshly cooked food filled the air. The market was packed with people enjoying breakfast, and the tantalizing scent was too tempting to resist.
They eagerly rushed in to buy their own morning meal.
At one of the market's stalls, a young man and a woman sat at a table laden with food, their attendants standing by. The young man took a bite of a meat bun and sighed contentedly.
"I have to admit, Liyue's buns are amazing—far better than the bread from our homeland, Zhidong."
The lady shot him a glare. "You're from Zhidong! How can you praise another nation's food while criticizing your own?"
"Yet you've been eating non-stop," the young man pointed out with a smirk, motioning toward the empty plates beside her. A plate of untouched Zhidong bread sat lonely next to them.
The lady huffed. "Just eat and stop talking. We have things to do once you're done."
The young man raised an eyebrow. "Things to do? What things?"
