Klee stood still, hands clasped behind her back, waiting for Jean's scolding.
Jean looked at the little girl and suddenly realized why Hook had seemed so familiar earlier.
It was Clara.
Jean saw traces of Clara's spirit in Hook.
Her instincts proved right when, one day, Klee and Hook—while innocently trying to cook fish—ended up blowing up a demon from Liyue.
But that was a story for another time.
For now, Jean sighed and turned her attention back to Klee.
"Klee, it's not that I don't want you to go out and play, but Mondstadt isn't safe these days. I'm afraid you'll run into danger."
Klee lowered her head, kicking at the floor.
"Klee understands, Captain Jean..."
Yuri glanced at Hook, who stood beside him, watching Klee with curiosity. He smiled.
