Chapter 919 - 917 Rest is indeed needed
As Rex slept within that area. He knew that his body was recovering much better than before. It was not because he was awake.
His cells were that damaged while trying to enter the seal.
Not only the cells everything was damaged even if it was just slightly. He knew that his body was recovering and would be fully recovered while he slept.

"I hope that Rex completes this Quest." Iris spoke while crying.
Hearing the screams tearing through while Rex was entering the seal completely and utterly broke her heart. She never wanted that to happen.
Lilith knew why he was screaming. That did not help her at all. Her body also felt like it was tearing apart.
"The screams were not because he wanted to. He screamed because his body was breaking while entering the seal. That proves entering the seal is dangerous. Probably leaving while whatever is sealed there is also dangerous." Lilith told them.
