Chapter 814 - 812 The new maids and woman
Rex continued to sleep through the day. His exhaustion quick built up from dealing with nobles. It was always easy to kill and move but when he actually had to ensure that killing was the right thing to do. His mind would work overtime due to the surroundings, the layout of the building they were in, the people inside the building, and so forth.
Being physically exhausted is not that bad. A good night's rest usually restores your worn out body. Being mentally exhausted keeps wearing at you from the top to the bottom. Even when you think everything is fine. The exhaustion shows itself more times than what you know.
As Rex slept, his mind recovered better than most times. That alone was not enough to keep him from waking early. As he slept, a woman creeped in to get a glance at the man.
"Seems more unusual than normal." Her thoughts drifted to Rex.
She then exited the room and quietly closed the door. Iris was standing outside waiting for her to come out.
"I heard your name was Aina. Is that correct?" Iris asked.
"I am Oracle Aina, Maximum Iris." The woman replied.
Iris was not pleased to hear her last name called out so abruptly. That did not mean that she was going to belittle one of the Oracle's daughters.
"Very true. That is however a mistake that. Pretty soon, we will have a new last name and be more friendly with each other." Iris spoke.
