Chapter 811 - 809 Survival and punishment
"Savannah, if you wish to save your parents. Become someone worthy of my name. Either as a Maid who is used as a Mercenary, an Assassin, or simply a maid who cleans up my houses. That choice is yours. If you don't, I can assure you that death will follow." Rex told her.
She nodded.
"Congratulations on becoming on of my maids. Your contributions will determine where your family lies within my city." Rex spoke.
Tears ran down as the family hugged each other. Rex turned his attention to the noble.
"As for you Trash, this is your punishment." Rex spoke up.
Visions of him being torn limb from limb, until he died of blood loss. Being eaten by wild beasts or fed to tamed beasts. A judge sentenced him to a death by hanging. He was left with nothing on to show how worthless a human body, a former trusted noble, and/or a man truly is to those in power.
When the noble finally looked up. He saw Rex waiting patiently for him to come to terms with his punishment.
"Are you ready?" Rex asked politely.
That alone made the noble realize that punishment is not always the end of a person. The punishment itself is the end to what needs to be ended.
