Chapter 803 - 801 Scrambling for Hope
The captain asked Rex to stay there as well as the hostages. He darted out to go get the ruler. The hostages fearful of why they were left with someone who seemed like a true demon.
"Hurry!" Their thoughts all were this until the captain and ruler came back.
Rex honestly did not care. He was ready to wipe out more of these lowlife nobles.
"Spring comes after a horrid winter." Rex thought.
A quick five minutes for the captain to return to the ruler's house. He got asked questions from the public about what was going. He told them he was getting their ruler to see for himself and make a judgment.
When he entered, he quickly bowed and asked him to come with him. The ruler was upset that the captain was asking him to come with him now.
The duo walked the captain in front. The ruler smiling and waving to the people. His smile making the crowd happy.
"This better be worth it." The ruler spoke.
The captain had been told what this should be.
"It will be. We will first look in the main room to see what happened." The captain spoke.
He opened the door to their main room. The ruler felt that whoever killed the family was a demon.
