Chapter 772 - 770 Separate Ways pt 2
The group finally made it to the city. It was nothing but a few shops, many people, and a place to hold a tournament. The inn there was only open when a tournament was being held. No one really came to this town expect for that. Instead of always losing money, the owner would get a few people to help run the inn a few days before and after the tournament.
As the grandchild, his four women, and Rex's women wanted to enjoy a bed for once. They were upset that the inn was closed.
"I am sorry. The inn only opens when a tournament is happening." The lady from across the street said.
"Well. Looks like another night in a tent." The grandchild was downtrodden for his women.
"We will survive. It would have been nice to have a good comfortable spot to rest tonight." His sister spoke.
As the timing of the sunsetting came down. The group had to ask where they could either set up tents or spend nights with some of the locals.
"Do not be upset. For I can open just a couple of rooms for you folks. I do this for the women not for you men." The lady spoke.
"Thank you graciously. Why are you upset with men?" The mother spoke.
"I have been cheated by, on, and abused by men for most of my early life. Even my four children do not know who their father is or where he is at. That is all for now." The lady spoke.
