Chapter 657 - 655 Journey to new beginnings
Along the short watch of making sure Mara was doing her best. Rex had grown a little more in liking Mara. Her self growth was astounding to Rex. Within three hours of training, she was now almost a dancing fairy in the battle.
"I just I should try her out." Rex thought.
Rex stepped in and the duo began to dance with swords. Each step taken like a butterfly with Mara, and like a predator stalking it's prey for Rex.
They were not trying to hurt each other but Rex was slowly pushing Mara to new found heights. Mara herself was slowly becoming accustomed to Rex's slower movements.
When Rex sped up a tiny bit, Mara got flustered hard and tried to keep up. It was not much of an increase in speed but in reflexes. Mara tried her best to keep up and finally tripped on herself.
"Good job. You lasted thirty minutes with me not trying. It seems like I am not praising you but most people cannot even withstand me trying one attack. So be proud of yourself."
Mara was indeed proud of herself. It was still frustrating to hear the words from Rex's mouth.
"So do you want to keep going or stop?" Rex asked.
"Rest for a few minutes before continuing please." Mara was panting this several times.
